This page explains what our website does with information about you. You can browse the site, read the menu, and get directions without giving us any personal details.
Browsing the site
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We may count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
Google reviews, map, and directions
The reviews on our homepage come from Google, and reviewers' profile pictures load from Google's servers. The map loads from Google only when you tap Open map, and the Directions links open Google Maps. Google's own privacy policy applies to what Google shows you.
Photo Wall uploads
Sharing a photo is optional and needs no name or account. When you send one, we receive the photo, the caption if you add one, and the category you choose.
- Your browser re-saves the photo before sending it, which removes hidden details such as GPS location and camera information.
- A Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms the upload comes from a person.
- The photo is checked by Sightengine, an automated service that screens images for sexual or violent content.
- Photos are stored privately with Cloudflare. Nothing appears on the Photo Wall until the restaurant approves it, and photos the restaurant rejects are deleted.
- To limit how many photos one person can send in an hour, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address and a secret key, never the address itself. We delete it once the restaurant approves or rejects the photo.
